Report

3rd Grade – WON 33 – 19

Another week together and 3s are continuing to build.  Our structures and patterns are starting to work better and last Saturday gave our team another good and much needed win to place us higher on the ladder (now sitting in fourth).

Still a lot of work ons but if this team can remain connected and continue to drive it’s own high standards we will continue to get better and stronger.  Our leadership group appear to be steering the ship well and the great mix between our senior and young players seems to be bonding well each week.

Norths as always will play till the final whistle but we seem to have the match in control for most of the game.  Work ons needed in regards to the back end of half’s were we seem to allow teams to score off our silly mistakes.  More a mental focus than a fitness one.  We scored 3 tries the first half and 2 in the second. Norths opportunities only coming from our own mistakes and again for the second week some very odd calls from the officials which kept Norths in the game.  Credit to our team for keeping their cool and staying on task and also Norths for keeping us on our toes and fighting till the end.

Looking forward to another finals game this week against what will be a very desperate Manly side.
